The Château de la Grande Riedera is a fortified house located in the village of Essert, in the territory of the Fribourg municipality of Le Mouret, in Switzerland.
It was at the end of the 16th century that the Château de La Petite-Riedera was built in the village of Essert. Subsequently, it was divided into two, and a second manor, called Grande-Riedera, was built and completed in 1639 for the Fribourg family of Gottrau. It then consists of a tower and outbuildings surrounded by a protective wall.
