The Schaan–Buchs railway bridge is a single-track bridge over the Rhine on the Feldkirch–Buchs railway line. It is the only railway bridge between Liechtenstein and Switzerland.
In the mid-19th century, there were also efforts in the Principality of Liechtenstein to connect to the railway network. The Liechtenstein government preferred a railway line crossing the entire country, but ultimately Liechtenstein and Austria – in agreement with Switzerland – settled on a route from Feldkirch through Schaan to Buchs. Construction of a railway bridge to connect Schaan and Buchs began in 1871, and the first train ran between the two places on October 24, 1872. The bridge was constructed as a lattice structure of iron with double cross-bracing. In 1892, the bridge was reinforced for higher traffic loads.
