Thörishaus is a locality that partly belongs to the municipality of Köniz near Bern and partly to the municipality of Neuenegg near Bern. Due to this political division, the local association of Thörishaus represents the overall interests of the locality of Thörishaus.
It has 1,181 inhabitants in the municipal area of Köniz and covers an area of 3.5 square kilometers. Thörishaus is located southwest of the capital Bern. The village is well connected with two SBB stations, Thörishaus-Station and Thörishaus-Dorf.
