Rundtour Hohentengen - Kloster Rheinau

The cross-border tour leads through Switzerland and Germany past beautiful places, with the destination Rheinau Monastery, which is beautifully situated on an island.

From Hohentengen we ride to Hüntwangen and past the Rafzer (CH) vineyards, then on to Lottstetten and Jestetten (D). In the center of Jestetten, between Penny and DM, we turn right downhill towards the Rhine for about 2.5 km. Here we cross the historic old customs bridge and are immediately in Rheinau (CH). From there, we make a detour to the Rheinau monastery church, which is located on an island.The tour continues along the Rhine to Ellikon, uphill to Flaach and Berg am Irchel. In Teufen, the route descends again to Tössegg and continues along the Rhine to the Rheinsfelden power station. Here we cross the Rhine again and return to the starting point.</p
