Description by the author

A long walk with lots of elevation meters to cover, but beautiful and varied, certainly in the section past Bargis (km 6.3). The decent from the pass named Pala da Porcs (km 13.3) is steep and rather technical, hence better to be avoided in bad weather conditions. From the pass onwards, the path marked in red-and-white becomes much less pronounced. Certain sections have been closed and replaced by newer variants, however, they are rather difficult to spot and follow. Thus, the last section of the walk beyond km 16.3 is on unsurfaced farmers roads. The initial part of the walk until Bargis can be avoided as it can be done by public bus.
