The Kaien Route in Vorderland, near Heiden AR, offers a sporting challenge over 13.7 kilometers with 427 meters of elevation. The moderately difficult, loop-shaped trail passes by the Henry Dunant Museum and the Clinic Am Rosenberg. About 20% of the route is unpaved, which increases the thrill.
