Description by the author

It is a mix of all kinds of terrains: tarmac, dirt roads and paths. Possible to start from Crans-Cry d'Er car park. You leave Crans-Montana and cross the lower part of the ski area before you arrive at the Courtavey mountain pasture.
The itinerary is a loop. It starts at Lake Moubra and takes you up to the resort of Crans-Montana. After passing by Lake Grenon, you attack the uphill to the pastures, towards Signal via Arnouvaz, where you can ski in winter. After pedalling t Courtavey and crossing the mayen area, you go back down via Plumachit and Barzettes back to the departure point, and why not refresh yourself and relax at the Lake Moubra beach which lends itself to swimming. Here you’ll find two restaurants with very welcoming terraces. A large part of the route is on surfaced roads and dirt tracks. They cross the resort, forest areas and pastures.
From Arnouvaz it is possible to detour to the Corbyre alpine pasture where you can taste different local cheeses.
By bus or by funicular from Sierre to Crans-Montana.
A9 motorway exit at Sierre-Ouest, follow the cantonal road via Chermigon until "Centre Sportif La Moubra" in Crans-Montana.
Free parking at Lake Moubra.
We recommend: bike in excellent working order, helmet, gloves and bell, clothing suitable for the weather (always carry a waterproof), food and drink.
Use marked bike trails and routes only, and observe all signposting. Please close gates after passing through. Please be considerate to walkers and to plants and animals. As a rule, walkers have priority. When planning, take into account participants’ fitness level and ability. All riding is at one’s own risk.
