Doubrava was formerly called Grün and is today incorporated as a district into the town of Aš in the Cheb District.
The family of Zedtwitz, which was already extensively endowed in the Asch region, acquired the estate from the family of Neuberg. The origins of the castle date back to a gentleman's seat of the Zedtwitz family, which around 1600 initially had the character of an agricultural estate. In 1783, it was remodeled in the neo-Gothic style. The coat of arms above the entrance with the year 1760 was adopted from the Kopaniny Castle. The castle served for a time as an inn, but it has been closed since at least 2016. The house and the surrounding property appear neglected and damaged. Two horses sometimes graze around the house.
