Nachbarn begegnen sich

At around 13 km, this circular hiking trail is suitable for a day hike, where you can experience the highlights of the trail, the tranquillity of nature, movement in the town and village or refreshing breaks.
The trail can be started in the Czech Republic, in Sluknov (Schluckenau) at the Trinity Column on the market square or at the memorial stone commemorating 666 years of Taubenheim in the middle of the sundial village.
Here you will find monuments along the way, which are also described in the monument hiking trail Tour 1.
Crossing the border through the forest, you can see old settlements and new ensembles, impressive buildings and monuments in the neighboring town of Sluknov, such as the beautifully rebuilt castle with tourist information or the Catholic Church of St. Wenceslas.
No matter which direction you take, the possibility of meeting people from both countries while exploring is very likely and should be used for a friendly word back and forth.
