The Harz is a fairytale place. The fog that often covers the forests and valleys with a mysterious haze transforms all kinds of shapes and creatures into witches, devils, giants and dwarves. The area between Thale and Treseburg is not only the most beautiful part of the Bode Valley, but also one of the oldest German nature reserves
