On the corner stands the Zeughaus. Here is the Deutsches Historisches Museum located. The building was given a new glass extension in 2002. The exhibitions can be viewed until then at the neighbors, the Kronprinzenpalais. It’s a pity, because in the courtyard we now miss the baroque sculptures by Andreas Schlüter. On the outside, and on the roof, there are also statues all around, including the gods Mars and Minerva. The Zeughaus was built at the end of the 17th century as a weapons depot.
