Dahme is a municipality in the Ostholstein district in Schleswig-Holstein. Dahmerfelde and Gruberhagen are located within the municipality.
Dahme is a Baltic Sea spa located about 20 km northeast of Neustadt in Holstein and just under 15 km southeast of Oldenburg in Holstein, directly south of the eastern end of the Oldenburg ditch. Thus, the town is situated in the landscape of Wagria at the northwestern edge of the Lübeck Bay between Grube and Kellenhusen. To the west runs the federal highway 501 from Neustadt towards Fehmarn. Dahme was first mentioned in documents in the year 1299. This is also evidenced by the memorial stone in the center of Dahme. The name is derived from the Slavic "dabje".
