Schwollen is an Ortsgemeinde – a municipality belonging to a Verbandsgemeinde, a kind of collective municipality – in the Birkenfeld district in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It belongs to the Verbandsgemeinde of Birkenfeld, whose seat is in the like-named town.
The municipality lies on the Schwollbach at the edge of the Schwarzwälder Hochwald . This part of the Hochwald is the southwestern part of the Hunsrück. The municipal area is 63% wooded. The mineral water that comes from the springs is bottled by two companies.
