Fichtenberg is a municipality in the district of Schwäbisch Hall in the Franconian-influenced northeastern part of Baden-Württemberg.
The municipality of Fichtenberg is located about 22 km south of the district town of Schwäbisch Hall in the natural region of Schwäbisch-Fränkische Waldberge, in the midst of the Schwäbisch-Fränkischer Wald Nature Park, at an elevation of 333 to 490 meters. The municipal area begins just above the left turn of the lower valley of the Rot, also known as Fichtenberger Rot, and extends eastward almost to the mouth following its course thereafter. Along both sides of the valley, there are also large outer heights.
