Wiesengrund, Lower Sorbian Łukojce, is a municipality in the Spree-Neiße district and is located in the southeastern part of Brandenburg. It belongs to the Döbern-Land office, which is based in the town of Döbern. The municipality is situated in the Sorbian settlement area.
The municipality of Wiesengrund borders the independent city of Cottbus and the municipality of Neuhausen/Spree to the west, the city of Spremberg and the municipality of Felixsee to the south, the municipalities of Neiße-Malxetal and Groß Schacksdorf-Simmersdorf to the east, and the district town of Forst and the municipality of Teichland to the north. A residual pit from lignite mining is being flooded in the municipality area. The Klinger Lake is expected to emerge from this by 2020.
