The Wuppertal residential area Nützenberg is one of seven neighborhoods in the Elberfeld-West district. The area is named after the hill Nützenberg.
The residential area, covering 1.48 km², is located in the western part of Wuppertal. To the east of the residential area lies the Brill neighborhood, with the neighborhood boundary running over the summit of Nützenberg and Nützenberg Park. To the southeast, the area borders the Arrenberg neighborhood. To the south is the Zoo residential area, with the Düsseldorf–Elberfeld railway line serving as the boundary along the slope of the Kiesberg. The area of the Wupper, along with the Elberfeld main plant of Bayer AG, is thus part of the neighborhood. In the southwest, the area extends to the Sonnborner railway bridge and borders the Sonnborn neighborhood to the west. The western boundary is first formed by Friedrich-Ebert-Straße and further north by Varresbecker Straße. To the northwest lies the Varresbeck neighborhood, where Varresbecker Straße and Otto-Hausmann-Ring form the border.
