The Wegberg Castle in the center of the North Rhine-Westphalian town of Wegberg, formerly known as Haus Potz, dates back to a foundation in the 14th century. However, only a few remnants of the former water castle remain. The manor house originates from the end of the 19th century and is now used as a hotel-restaurant. Since April 15, 1985, it has been under monument protection.
