Jagsthausen Castle, later also known as the Old Castle and in more recent times referred to as Götzenburg in reference to Goethe's play Götz von Berlichingen, is located in Jagsthausen in the Heilbronn district of Baden-Württemberg and is one of the ancestral seats of the lords of Berlichingen. The hilltop castle situated on a slope above the Jagst Valley has been a backdrop for open-air performances since 1950.
