Hemmeres is a district of the municipality of Winterspelt, located directly on the Our, the border river between Germany and Belgium.
It lies in the far western part of Rhineland-Palatinate in the Bitburg-Prüm district. The landmark of the place is a gable house from the 18th century.
The settlement, which likely originated in the Middle Ages in the Our valley, counted three homesteads in 1777 and seven around 1840.
