The Niedaltdorf stalactite cave is a primary cave 120 meters long located in the Niedaltdorf district of the municipality of Rehlingen-Siersburg. The cave was formed about 8000 years ago in a 200-meter-long, 40-meter-wide, and eight-meter-thick spring limestone deposit. The deposit was formed over the last 10,000 years at the source of a tributary of the Nied.
