The Lower Saxony Police Academy is an educational institution of the state of Lower Saxony at the level of a vocational academy. It was founded in 2007 and trains police officers of the Lower Saxony police. She is also responsible for the further training of the approximately 22,000 employees of the Lower Saxony State Police. The academy is based in Nienburg/Weser and has further locations in Hann. The Lower Saxony Police Museum in Nienburg/Weser is part of the Police Academy.
