Wissem Castle, formerly also known as the "Wiesheim" estate of the free nobility and the state parliament, is a castle in Troisdorf-Mitte. The courtyard, originally built as a moated castle, dates back to the Carolingian period.
Wissem is an elongated rectangular complex open on the west side, whose water enclosure is only partially preserved today. Two corner towers corresponding in the diagonal complement the complex. After 1840, the manor house was built, which was renovated and restored in 1954/1955. It is located on the south side of the complex and was built as a two-storey classicist plaster building.
