The Glückstadt Castle, also known as Glücksburg Castle, or Glyksborg or Danish Lyksborg, was the city residence of the Danish king in the Schleswig-Holstein town of Glückstadt. The castle, which was probably completed in 1631, had to be demolished in 1708 due to structural decay. The stair tower and the castle church were initially preserved, but were also later torn down. Today, only the heavily altered so-called Provianthaus remains from the former castle district.
