The Church of St. Engelbert is a Catholic church in the Remscheid district of Güldenwerth. With its 25-meter high bell tower, it shapes the image of the district. The church accommodates about 150 people. It is the youngest church in the city, with the foundation stone laid on February 19, 1989, and the consecration of the church took place on May 27, 1990. The architect was Wilhelm Dahmen from Düsseldorf. Alongside the churches of St. Suitbertus, St. Josef, and St. Marien, it has been part of the parish of St. Suitbertus, Remscheid, since the merger in 2011. The church is under the patronage of Saint Count Engelbert II of Berg. In the immediate vicinity, there is the train stop Remscheid-Güldenwerth and a bus stop.
