Haus Kemnade is a moated castle in the Blankenstein district of Hattingen in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It houses a museum with a collection of musical instruments and covers the history of means of payment.
Nothing is known about the construction of the castle and its history up to 1410. In that year, ownership passed from the Lords von Dücker to Diedrich von Romberg. Four years later, in 1414, the property passed to the freemen von der Recke zu Kemnade. For more than two centuries, the castle remained in the family's possession.
