The Felsenkirche is a fifteenth-century church located in Idar-Oberstein in the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate. From the Reformation until 1964, the church was used for services of the Evangelical community of Idar-Oberstein.
The Felsenkirche was built in 1482-1484 by Wyrich IV von Daun-Oberstein in a natural niche in the rocks. At the top of the mountain stands Burg Bosselstein. At the bottom of the slope are the houses of the town. The church consists of a nave with a choir and has a left side aisle. Galleries are present above both the side aisle and the choir, as well as above the rear part of the nave. In the side aisle, there is a font. On the gallery above the nave, there is an organ. In 2002, a new Müller organ was installed in the case of the original Stumm organ dating from 1756.
