Winninger Uhlen is the name given to a part of the cross-town location of Uhlen, which extends in the German wine-growing region of Mosel over the municipalities of Kobern-Gondorf and Winningen on the terraced Moselle.
The vineyard area in the Winninger Uhlen is about 7 hectares and the vineyard slope is located at an altitude of 75 to 210 m above sea level. The steep slope has a steepness of 50 to 70% and is laid out on terraces. The winegrowers use the vine training methods Moselpfahl, Trierer Rad, Vertiko and wire frame training. The most important grape variety is Riesling. The Winninger Uhlen is located in the immediate vicinity of the motorway bridge of the A 61 motorway.
