The Catholic Church of St. Johann Baptist is a listed church building in Gimborn, a district of Marienheide in the Oberbergischer Kreis. Until the end of 2009, it was the parish church of the parish of Gimborn/Nochen, which was incorporated into the parish of Marienheide in January 2010.
The predecessor building was Romanesque in its core and also served as a castle chapel. It was a squat building with a west tower. The choir and the nave were changed in Gothic style. According to old records, the church was equipped with five altars and a germ chamber. The building was probably also used as a fortified church, it was built on a steep slope and stood in the middle of a walled cemetery. The community was parish of Gummersbach in 1536.
