The wheat glass museum in the Nuremberg district of Laufamholz is a privately run museum by Walter Geißler. Its aim is to preserve old wheat beer glasses from discontinued breweries for future generations.
The collection includes about 4,500 wheat beer glasses from approximately 1,300 breweries worldwide, with a regional focus on southern Germany. In addition to the glass collection, beer coasters, bottles, labels, and signs - some made of enamel - related to the theme of wheat beer can be viewed. Utensils and items related to glass production and brewing, such as a 50-liter double kettle brewing system, complete the collection. Adjacent to the museum is a small wheat beer brewery where their own wheat beer varieties are brewed.
