Marienfels Castle in Remagen, a town in the north of Rhineland-Palatinate, was predominantly built in the neo-Gothic style as a villa from 1859 to 1863. Surrounded by a wooded park of about 100,000 square meters, the castle has approximately 800 square meters of living space in 18 rooms. Marienfels Castle is listed as a cultural monument and, with its furnishings, outbuildings, and park, is designated as a monument zone.
