The sewage fields of Dortmund, a landscape north of Dortmund, were originally wastewater treatment facilities for the city of Dortmund. The sewage fields are located in the Dahler Heide, a former heathland between Datteln, Waltrop, and Lünen, within the area of the first two cities and thus in the Recklinghausen district.
