Hönnepel is a village in the municipality of Kalkar in the Lower Rhine region, Germany. The place is located directly on the Rhine and has about 950 inhabitants.
The village became known to some extent because it was the location of the breeder reactor Kalkar, which was never put into operation. The Wunderland Kalkar amusement park was opened at this location in 1995.
