The Bodelschwingh-Gymnasium is a state-approved grammar school under the sponsorship of the Evangelical Church in the Rhineland in Windeck-Herchen, Rhein-Sieg district.
The original building was a sanatorium in Herchen, which was built towards the end of the 19th century by a Dr. Wölfing from Wissen. In 1901, the rector Otto Kühne bought it and built a branch of the Protestant Pedagogy in Bad Godesberg, which he headed, today's Otto Kühne School. It was a secondary school that was operated as a boarding school.
