Le Bodelschwingh-Gymnasium est un lycée reconnu par l'État sous l'égide de l'Église évangélique du Rhin à Windeck-Herchen, dans le district de Rhein-Sieg.
Le bâtiment d'origine était un sanatorium à Herchen, construit à la fin du 19e siècle par un Dr Wölfing de Wissen. En 1901, le recteur Otto Kühne l'acheta et y établit une succursale de l'Évangélique Pédagogium qu'il dirigeait à Bad Godesberg, l'actuelle école Otto-Kühne. Il s'agissait d'un lycée réel qui était exploité comme internat.
