The Sababurg Wildlife Park is a wildlife park at Sababurg in the Reinhardswald in the northern Hesse district of Kassel. It was established in 1571 as a game preserve and has been known as the Sababurg Wildlife Park since 1973. With an area of around 130 hectares, it is one of the largest and oldest wildlife parks in Europe. Long oak avenues run through the park, which borders the Sababurg primeval forest to the west. The park is also home to endangered native species, and appropriate animal husbandry is pursued through generously designed enclosures.
