The castle site Michaelsberg is a former spur castle on the 480.2 m above sea level plateau of the Michelsberg, located south-southwest of the town of Kipfenberg in the district of Eichstätt in Bavaria.
It is presumed that the approximately 150-meter-long spur plateau was a prehistoric fortification, possibly also a Roman mountain sanctuary, and later a medieval refuge castle, whose owner is believed to have been a knight from Holzheim. Later, there stood the Michaels Church, which today only exists in its foundations.
