The Evangelical Chapel of Grace is a listed church building in Ascheberg, a municipality in the district of Coesfeld.
During the Second World War, until the beginning of the floods of evacuees and displaced persons from the big cities and from East Germany, Ascheberg was a purely Catholic community. In 1945 and later, expellees and evacuees arrived who had never had the desire to settle in Ascheberg. Among them were a number of Protestant Christians. The founders called the church the Church of Grace because they perceived their life and survival as a grace.
