The Hacburg castle is a disappeared noble castle located above the parish village of Happurg in the Middle Franconian district of Nürnberger Land in Bavaria, Germany. The castle has today almost completely vanished, with only very few remnants, such as the rock-hewn ditch, testifying to it.
The castle site of the spur castle is located in the central area of the Hersbruck Alb, part of the Franconian Jura, at the tip of a hillside spur of the Bocksberg at an elevation of about 460 m above sea level. The Bocksberg extends northwestward from the gradually rising terrain on the eastern side, bounded to the north by a Klingental, and on the west and south sides it drops about 100 meters into the already wide valley of the Happurger Bach. The site of the vanished castle lies about 380 meters east of the Protestant parish church of St. Mary and George in Happurg, or about 29.5 kilometers east of Nuremberg.
