The old mansion is already mentioned in the year 1300. Its oldest parts are the central section and the left wing with a round corner tower. The complex was completed around 1755 by Johann Conrad Schlaun. He achieved the symmetry demanded by the Baroque style by adding the right wing with a corresponding tower.
Inside the castle, there is the knights' hall with the stucco ceiling designed by Schlaun. In the vestibule, there is a sandstone fireplace from the year 1582, and in the outbuilding, a large coat of arms from around 1700 can be seen.
