The Protestant parish church is a listed church building in Mettingen, a municipality in the district of Steinfurt in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.
The original church was built in the 12th century. It was originally dedicated to St. Agatha. During excavations in 1966, the foundations of two predecessor churches were found. The older one was a flat-roofed hall with a recessed, square choir and dates from the 1st half of the twelfth century. It was also during this time that today's west tower, which was originally unvaulted, was built. The second church was a late Romanesque, slightly wider vaulted hall. The north portal of this church from the middle of the 13th century has been preserved. Today's nave is a late Gothic hall church with a three-sided choir end. The two-part windows are made with fishladder tracery.
