Falkenau is an uninhabited rocky river island in the upper Middle Rhine, located at the level of the Volkenbach Valley about 110 meters from the right bank of the Rhine at Kaub. The island is connected to the Kauber Werth island, which is 850 meters upstream, by a guide structure that is 3 to 15 meters wide. Both islands belong to the district of Kaub.
