The country house J. C. Godeffroy, also known as Hirschparkhaus, is a classical country house on Elbchaussee in Hamburg-Nienstedten.
On October 30, 1786, Johan Cesar Godeffroy became the owner of an extensive estate, which he acquired after the death of the previous owner Berend Johann Rodde. He commissioned the first builder, the responsible landscape architect for the Danish territories of Holstein and Altona/Elbe, Christian Frederik Hansen, in 1789 to construct a country or summer house. The construction lasted about three years. The villa consists of a two-story central building with five axes and two single-story side wings with three axes. The entrance door facing north is framed by two large sandstone columns. "The calm wise enjoyment" is the inscription that greets every visitor. It is said to have come from the Danish theologian Peter Christian Steenvinkel. The garden or south side features a semi-circular middle section.
