The White Fir Tower is a 44-meter high observation tower in Kehl, built in 2003. It is located within the Garden of Two Banks. The tower consists of three load-bearing supports made of trunks of white firs that were felled in a forest in Nordrach. They are stabilized by galvanized steel beams and tension rods. On the outside of this construction, the staircase leads to the observation platform at a height of 35 meters. Three additional slimmer fir trunks in the center, with no static function, rise above the outer ones. Including the 210 steps made of wooden planks, about 100 cubic meters of white fir wood were used.
