The Friedland refugee camp is a reception and sorting camp for foreigners, located in Friedland, in the district of Göttingen, Germany.
The camp was established by the British provisional administration on 20 September 1945 in order to identify and reunite German prisoners of war, mainly from the Eastern Front.
For over a decade it served in this function, until October 1955, when the last 9,626 prisoners of war arrived from Russia, repatriated following the Adenauer-Bulganin agreement of 13 September 1955.
