The Marienstift was a collegiate monastery founded in the Middle Ages in front of the Tiedex city gate of Einbeck.
The abbey area was located northwest outside the city walls of Einbeck. In the west it is bordered by the Hubeweg, in the south by the Tiedexer Tor and in the north and east it went to the Krumme Wasser. The cemetery of the monastery was preserved until the abolition of the monastery. Today, a street Auf der lieben Frau still commemorates this.
