The Gertruden Cemetery is a place in Hamburg-Altstadt. Until the Great Fire of Hamburg, the chapel that gave it its name, Gertruden Chapel, was located here.
The Gertruden Chapel was situated in the northeastern part of the city between Spitaler Straße and Rosenstraße. In the 14th century, probably in the year of the plague in 1350, a cemetery was established here, which, however, was no longer used later. The name Gertruden Cemetery serves as a reminder of this.
