The Red College was a building complex of the University of Leipzig between Ritterstraße and Goethestraße, with the address Ritterstraße 16–22, of which the part on Ritterstraße is still preserved. It is one of the former colleges of the university, alongside the Little and Great Princes' Colleges.
In November 1502, Duke George ordered a reform of the Leipzig University. As part of this process, the Faculty of Arts received a new domicile. On the site of the city's Marstall in Ritterstraße, a building with three upper floors was erected, incorporating the city wall, although its completion and handover was delayed until 1515.
