The Fire Brigade Museum of the City of Arnsberg with the new self-name BRENNPUNKT is located directly at the Arnsberg train station.
Originally, the collection was located in a half-timbered building on the Schlossberg. The museum was opened on May 8, 1971. It was maintained by the city of Arnsberg and built by the city's fire department. The building was renovated in 1990, but is now in poor structural condition. In addition to the municipal museum, there has been an association Arnsberger-Feuerwehr-Historie e.V. since 1996, which also collects exhibits, including decommissioned fire engines.
