El Museo de Bomberos de la ciudad de Arnsberg, con la nueva designación de BRENNPUNKT, se encuentra justo al lado de la estación de tren de Arnsberg.
Originalmente, la colección se encontraba en un edificio de entramado de madera en el Schlossberg. El museo fue inaugurado el 8 de mayo de 1971. Fue mantenido por la ciudad de Arnsberg y establecido por el cuerpo de bomberos de la ciudad. En 1990, el edificio fue renovado, pero aún se encuentra en mal estado estructural. Junto al museo municipal, desde 1996 existe una asociación Arnsberger-Feuerwehr-Historie e. V., que también recopila exposiciones, incluidas camiones de bomberos retirados.
