The Peace Bridge, originally called Luitpold Bridge, is one of seven bridges in Würzburg that cross the Main River. It carries Federal Highways B 8 and B 27 as a four-lane road, the track of two streetcar lines, and pedestrian and bicycle paths on both outer sides.
The Peace Bridge is located at Main kilometer 251.64 in the northern part of Würzburg, between the German Unity Bridge to the north and the older Main Bridge further south. It connects the old town on the right bank of the Main with the district of Zellerau located on the left side of the river. The next bridges open to motor traffic are the German Unity Bridge to the north and the Ludwig Bridge to the south.
